I LOVE this planner! It has sections for all the important stuff and has helpful guides for questions to ask the dj, photographer, pastor, venue, and so on. There are pockets to put things in and it's a three ring binder...so you can add pages if you need to! It is organized very well and is easy to follow! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I really like this book and the space it has to keep your life organized while planning a wedding. Unfortunately a lot of the sections don't apply to me so I really can't use them. It seems to be a book for a more extravagant wedding as opposed to a simpler ceremony. That's not a problem but it kind of made me feel bad for all the stuff I'm not doing or can't afford. Other than that it has some great advice and it's very well done and nicely organized. I would definitely recommend this, especially for someone who can afford to go all out for their impending nuptials.
Idea is a good one.Folders inside are not wide enough to easily place papers inside. Its a chore each time to put papers back. Have to make sure to pull to the left when placing a paper inside. Almost always gets stuck on bottom clip. (see video) The folders are a key piece to this planner. No room to re-do the holes in order to make folder more spacious. Im using regular sized paper, only one or two pieces--not oversized or stuffing large amounts. Disappointing.
This is the BEST Wedding Planner out there. I bought this for my daughter as an engagement present, and this was a Godsend. I bought another one for my niece and she loved it too!
Easy to follow, a great guide, focuses your questions when interviewing vendors, calibrates your thinking toward the folks running their business and trying to get more money from you, etc... we used it for our wedding (yes, the husband actually used it and is writing this review oh my) and loved it. We bought this for FIVE other friends and I'm sending this to Texas for a friend right now.
My first book I received came with one of the spine rivets broken so it was sliding around in the binder. But I filed for a replacement and had a new one the next day. This book is beautiful, and full of super helpful stuff! If you are planning a wedding by yourself, GET THIS! If you know someone who just got engaged, buy this for them! I wish I'd had this a year ago when I first got engaged. A lot of these vendors I've already booked, so I can't utilize some parts, but for the parts I can, this is phenomenal. Did not disappoint and I'm so excited to have a cute keepsake to remember this day with.
This is very detailed, from dress shopping to filing for your marriage certificate. I won't use most of it because it's so full of things to do. Would highly recommend it for anyone planning a wedding alone.
Decent book and has all the basics. Honestly pulling this book out and storing our contracts and etc. was more of a hastle then helpful. Good quality and I would reccomend if you need 100% guidance. Otherwise, you may be better off with out the extra stress. (It tells you you need to do things that are completely redundant.)
I received this as a gift for my wedding and have shared it with my future sister in law and brother. This literally has everything that you will need to know and I knew nothing...there are step by step guides about what you are going to need to do and when based on wedding timeframes and there are places for you to save anything you print out as well. You definitely need this if you are getting married anytime soon!
